The Meridian Score
Meridian Score
Meridian’s single headline score, 0 to 10, summing up how attractive a stock looks right now. It blends the six factors below — valuation, growth, profitability, momentum, analyst expectations, and financial health — into one number. Each metric inside those factors is measured against the company’s own sector, so a bank is never called expensive for not looking like a software company; the combined result is then ranked across the whole rated market, so a 7.5 means the same thing in Real Estate as in Healthcare. A 9.5 doesn’t mean “good at one thing”; it means the stock sits near the top of the whole rated market across the board. Use it as a fast first filter: it tells you which names deserve a closer look and which to pass over. It is a starting point for your own research, not a buy or sell order — and if a stock is missing the data for any factor, the score is left blank rather than guessed, so any score you actually see is one built on real numbers.
